Can I change to different employer while the i140 is pending and also keep the PD. What i would like to do is..i want to change to a different employer and ask the present employer to keep the i-140 process as it is.
Is it ok if the i-140 gets approved while i no longer work for that company. I understand if i get any RFE, then employer need to respond accordingly.

Hi All,
Im in the process of filing a new GC in EB2 category which eventually I will port to my older EB3 application. I wanted to find out if we need to do our Medical exam again during the I-485 stage?

I just read on other forums that no FP is required if EAD renewal is efiled. Only first time efile requires FP is this true?
So far twice I have paper filed EAD. Now its time for extension. If I e-file will I get FP??

I had a quick Q:
a.) DO you need latest paystubs for filing for 485.
Suppose, i am working for company A and company B has filed for my GC, then how can this be provided.
b.) Even if i am working for company A, do i still need pay stubs or will a letter stating that "this job is available for the immigrant" suffice.

If H1B extension gets denied and my employer will appeal it. My questions are
1. Can I allowed to work until I decision is made on appeal?
2. If appeal is denied, from when I will be consider as out of status? (from I-94 expiry date or appeal decision date)
3. After appeal denial what is the grace period to leave the US?
4. Can same employer is allow to file another H1 petition for me?

I am planning to visit India for a10 days in October. I have a valid h1b status till 2010 which I thinking of getting stamped at new delhi. But it seems the PIMS verification delay is making people wait for weeks and months. I have an AP which I can use to enter as an alternative. But I wanted to know if anyone had experience in stamping at the delhi consulate? Do they keep the passport if it is send for PIMS verification? In that case I'll drop the idea of getting it stamped and use my AP (though I want to avoid doing that snce I want to maintain my h1b status).

I just contributed my second contribution of $200.00(so far $400.00)
I was just thinking about it, it is still less than what I am earning in one day.
And I am sure it is less than what your consulting company makes(or takes) from you in two days(some times one day)
Think about what these guys at IV are doing for us(and ofcouse for themselves)
Please do your part by contributing. When sombody is willing to donate their time/effort for free, we should make use of it properly(no point in regretting later).
It is dissappointing to see that most of us lack motivation.
Please do your part today. Let us make it a movement.

I have just started a thread to ask if there is any need to call our local senators for co-sponsoring S.3084 ( Barbara Boxer), which is identical bill in Senate for HR 6039.
Is core working to get similar bills for HR.5882 and HR 5921 to get introduced in Senate?
