how can we monitor the process (the processing dates then become irrelevant)...
This is the big question everyone has..I know processing dates are meant only for crazy..no FIFO,random,IO mercy etc..:(

I think most Immigration Judges try to do their job in a fair way. But there are a few that really cross the line way too often. The press has covered this and I've tried to bring some of these problems to light in this forum. Now EOIR wants people who have been victimized by poor conduct from an Immigration Judge to complain and they've established a complaint portal on their web site.

Online EAD status says Card production ordered. Not received card yet. Is there any memo/ lawyer opinion that says it is OK to work that as a basis for employment eligibility?

I filed green card with my old emp. in 2002, i applied for i485 July/07 and in APR/08 i change my job to similar profession, now i work and live in MD, and my interview for status adj is sch in NJ, should i notify and change address to MD since i live , work and my current emp. in MD. Please help....

Because of some reason or the other it happend to be so bad that my I140 documents were sent by courier on Tuesday - 17 July 2007.
can any one of you please suggest what best I can do to file my 485 during this current window July 17 to Aug 17 2007.

The green card backlog situation seems hopeless to me.
Is this organization working to get the
totalization agreement done so that at least we get some of the money that

If Company B have applied change of status, You status become H1B as soon as that petition approves. In that case, you need to work for comany B on H1B status and can't continue working on L1.
Once you go out of country, you have choice of using either L1(if not expired)/H1B. If you have already done stamping for L1 visa, you don't need to stamp again. You need employer letter from L1 Employer.
